daily finding

I discovered this blog yesterday (yes this makes 89 blogs on google reader now). I am now in the process of reading it from start to finish. I tend to do that when I find a really good blog with really good information. There is so much to see here and so many good ideas. I love their house tour pictures. They did an amazing job redoing their house and they have documented the whole thing on their blog! Here are some before and after pictures of their house. All photos and more befores and afters found here.

I love the last transformation. It's my favorite. A little paint goes a long way. Looking at these pictures and reading about how they did everything makes me want to buy a fixer upper house someday.

daily finding

Becky Higgins is pretty much amazing. I love her product Project Life.
She posted this picture on her blog today and I love what she did with these framed pictures. She used command picture hanging strips to hang the 6 pictures. I love the yellow frame and the wallpaper behind the pictures. Such a cool idea.

Another cool thing I saw today is this sink:

I love everything about it. I sort of have an obsession with sinks. I absolutely love the front apron sink. Like this one:

There is one at Ikea that I swoon over every time I go there. It is pretty much amazing. I couldn't find a picture of it though. I will have it someday.

right now...

Last night while I was laying in bed and couldn't sleep (I blame the nap I had at 9pm) I came up with this idea. I want to be able to look back and see how far I have come. Since today is my birthday and I am 23 now, I am going to come up with a list of 23 things about me right now. Then next year when I turn 24 I can look back at this list and see how far I have gone.

Right now...

I am doing my internship and have 12 hours left of college. That means I graduate in December!

I am obsessed with checking my etsy shop. I have had 4 sales so far!

I am also obsessed with google analytics. It shows me how many people look at my shop and my blog.

I love my google reader. Everyday the new blog posts I read inspire me and give me great ideas. I am currently following 88 blogs. I know, it's a lot.

I am waiting for a certain someone to ask me a certain question : )

I am living at home and it is nice. I don't have to pay for rent or bills or food! It's great. Not looking forward to being back on my own in a month.

My sweet tooth has taken over my life.

I haven't exercised in a long time.

Those last two put together is not good.

I am obsessed with gray.

I am not ready to look for a big girl job. It scares me.

I want to open up a paper store someday. No, not like Dunder Mifflin, more like Kates Paperie.

I love making to-do lists and marking things off of them. Sometimes I even put things I have already accomplished on there just so I can mark something off.

I wear a cardigan almost everyday. I love cardigans.

I miss Matthew. Right now I get to see him about once a month. Can't wait until we are back in Lubbock together!

I get to see Matthew along with Jessi and David this weekend! And I get to eat Cheesecake Factory. It's going to be a good weekend.

Me and Matt have been dating for over three years now and our families still haven't met...it's happening at Cheesecake Factory this weekend.

Paper Source is my favorite place to buy supplies for WRP.

I love my iPhone, but I want the iPhone 4.

I want to buy a sewing machine someday.

I love watching the Tour de France. I can't wait until I get off work so I can go watch it! I am glad to be home this summer so I can watch it in HD! I love hd. It makes me happy.

I plan to make a mini book out of this list.

I bought a new purse from Forever 21 for my birthday present to myself and I love it! It's navy blue (another color I am obsessed with).

There! I got all 23 things. I can't wait to turn 24 and look back at this list.

I love this bag. I found it via Design*Sponge.

It looks like it would last forever.

Monday

I recently discovered Apartment Therapy. They post tons of inspiring images and ideas everyday on their blog. I can't wait to someday have a house to design and I will for sure use this website to find awesome ideas and inspiration. Here is something they posted today:

How cool are these? I love them! I will have to try and figure out how to do these on my own!

Well I just wanted to share these with you. Hope your Monday is going well!

week 27

The Tour de France started this week! It is one of my most favorite sporting events to watch. This picture is from the first day time trial. Lance finished 4th. As of Thursday he is 18th. 2:30 behind the leader. I still believe he can win it!

We had a pretty relaxed fourth of July here. We did have hot dogs on some festive plates though!

I opened my etsy shop this week and my au revoir card was on the front page of etsy on Tuesday! I credit this for the two sales I have had this week.

I got my first request for a custom order through etsy! It was for my kraft moving announcements. The person was moving to Japan! I really enjoyed interacting with the customer and creating these for them. I can't wait to get more custom orders! And yes, I did take a picture of it in the mailbox (I know I am a dork). It was an exciting moment for me.

I love the flowers of summer! This one popped up this week. It is huge!

I am currently working on a custom order for a friend. These are going to be program fans for her wedding. I have printed and folded them all and plan to finish them on Saturday. I am really liking the way the are turning out. I can't wait to see the final product!

Well that has been my week. How has your week been?

glamping and log bowls

While catching up on my blog reading I ran across these two things and just had to share them! I found both of these here (Jessi you need to add this one to your google reader :) )

1. Glamping = Camping + Glamour

You must go to this link. I say we have a family vacation here:

or if we feel extra adventurous we could go here:

or we could stay a little closer to home:

What do you say? I say YES!! I will start the planning now! Haha!

2. The second thing I saw are these log bowls:

Aren't they the coolest things ever? I am picturing one right now on my entry table with my keys in it (in my made up home I will someday have!) I found that you can buy them here. They are a little expensive but I think totally worth it! They are made out of reclaimed trees and they come in tons of cool colors.

Hope you enjoy!

friday

I can not believe it is already July! I am pretty happy this summer is going by fast because I am ready to get my internship over with and get started on my last semester of college!

Last weekend was Shelby and Haley's wedding. It was beautiful! I am so happy for them!

Remember when I said that I was going to try to do something creative everyday and share it with you...well I have been a bad blogger and haven't been showing you what I have been doing. I have been working on my cards almost everyday and am really close to listing them on etsy (like tonight)! Yay!  So after that I will still try to do something creative everyday (besides cards) and I promise to show you.

I went with Kelsey last night to see Eclipse and I loved it! Yes, I am 22 (almost 23!) and like Twilight and am not ashamed! It really was the best one so far. Tonight I am going to see Toy Story 3! I was 8 years old when the first one came out. Crazy!

Anyways, hope you have a wonderful 4th of July weekend! So happy for my three day weekend! I hope to work on my mini summer book some this weekend and get June done.

I will leave you with this...
it has been raining all week and I wanted to get a picture of the rain but it stopped...so here is the evidence of it raining all week.

cards

These past couple of weeks I have been working really hard on getting my etsy shop open. I am still waiting on a few more things to come in (like some more envelopes and my paper liner kit from paper source!) before I can start listing on etsy, but here are some pictures of what I will be selling there! Hope you enjoy!

Also happy first day of summer!

may

Look at how thick my summer book is! I am proud of myself for keeping it up! I decided to get the pictures that I would use in my book printed professionally instead of printing them myself. I ordered them online from Snapfish. I finally got them in yesterday so I decided to add to my book! Here are some of my favorite pages from May.

I am really happy with the way it is turning out! I will post more pictures of the progress after June is over!
