thriving thursday (or friday)

let's see if i can remember what all i did this week... sunday: eliptical for 30 minutes and bike for 30 minutes monday: abs class and eliptical for 30 minutes tuesday: eliptical for 30 minutes wednesday: bike for 25 minutes and circuit room apparetly we love the eliptical! haha! over the next two weeks i have 2 tests and 3 assignments due. not looking forward to all that! mommy you can help me with my life insurance needs analysis assignment when i come home! i'm sure it will be a blast! well hope yall had a good week!

I finally got my grade back on my structure assignment pictures. I got an 83. Not as good as I would have liked but I guess good enough. Here are the comments that he gave me:
  • Good structures to photograph
  • Shoot in that real nice light!
  • Watch your keystoning as well as ______ horizons (i cant read his handwritting here, thats why there is a blank)
  • Avoid empty foregrounds that do not contribute to the frames balance

I knew the lighting that I was shooting in wasnt the best and I wasnt sure about turning in that sign picture with all the empty space in the foreground but I decided to trun it in and I guess I shouldnt had. I have a test in there Thursday so hopefully I will do good on that.

My next assignment for that class is called motion assignment. I have to photograph things that are in motion. I have been trying to think of what to photograph but I cant think of anything. If you have any ideas they will be greatly appreciated! Thanks! It is due next thursday.

I am for sure coming home March 6! Yay!

thriving thursday

not much has been happening lately...just school and work. thats about it. since thursday is one of my off days for working out i am going to post what all i did the whole week and i am calling it thriving thursday. i looked up the work thriving in the dicitonary and it means to grow and develop vigoursly. i feel that while i am helping my life thrive in the right direction by keeping my body healthy. so here it is... sunday: ran for 10 minutes and lifted weights in the circuit room monday: did abs class for 20 minutes then did the eliptical for 10 minutes tuesday: did a body sculpting class for 1 hour wednesday: did the eliptical for 30 minutes i am starting to feel stronger and just better about myself. i know i dont/cant dance but there is a ballroom dancing class starting in the next couple of weeks. kaylee mentioned that her and cameron might do it and krista loves to dance so her and kaleb might do it and i think it would be fun so me and matt might do it! we will see though. i got my toms shoes yesterday! they were supposed to be polka dotted on the inside but they are camo instead. oh well. until next time...

i really enjoy valentines day. it is a day to do something special for the one you love. since matt had alot of homework to do today we didnt do much. we went to ihop for brunch. i had stuffed french toast...yum! and matthew got a philly. we also cooked chicken and mashed potatoes for dinner and watched 90210. it was a good day.

new shoes

i know, i know, i know...i shouldnt be buying a new pair of shoes but i have seen people wear these shoes all around and i really like them. i asked a girl in class that had a pair on about them and she told me that they are called Tom's shoes. so i got to work and searched for them. for every pair of shoe you buy they give a pair of shoes to a child in need all over the world! i thought this was pretty cool! so i bought a pair.
aren't they cute? i thougth so. and i found a coupon for them and got them 25% off! plus free shipping! can't get better than that!


as i sit here at work my legs ache, my butt hurts and my arms are sore. why you ask...well i have worked out for the last 4 days. here is what i did: sunday: ran for 10 minutes and lifted weights in the circuit room monday: eliptical for 15 minutes and went to an abs class tuesday: went to a body sculpting class wednesday: eliptical for 15 minutes then bike and stairmaster for 30 minutes i am pretty proud of myself and hope this continues. i dont think i would if i didnt have kaylee and krista there with me! i am letting my muscles relax for the next couple of days and then back to work on sunday!

my first post

i am officially a blog writer! haha! i figured since i have a lot of down time at work and at home now would be the perfect time to start a blog! i can tell you all about the things that i am learning daily from my experiences and classes! i can also put my pictures that i am taking for my photography class on here so you can see! i have always wanted to become a blog writer but never thought i had anything important to say that people wanted to read about. i think now it is time to come out of my shell and bore yall with what i write! haha! enjoy!
